The Village House Plans

  • The primary design form is that of a simple rectangular farmhouse with secondary lean-to additions and tertiary pergola structures.

    All Normal Units, as built by the developer, contain: 3 bedrooms or 2 bedrooms and a study; 2 bathroom; Kitchen; Lounge/Dining Area; Entrance Hall; Covered Porch; Carport.

    The design is flipped and moved in accordance with the layout of the site so their orientation actually creates a different type of house depending where varous lifestyle segments of the house are situated, such as the patio and the car port. See the various layouts to the left and below.

Each plot provides space for a secondary parking spot of 3m in width.

A maximum of 60% of the stand can be taken up by the unit. As built by the developer, the houses covered areas are 124.5 sq/m in size. A certain amount of expansion onto a second storey is possible. Each plot has a unique size and therefore the room for expansion of each unit type has been calculated according to a matrix. 

These Houses are ideally suited to their environment, staying cool in summer and warm in winter.
